What to give us for the sharpest audit

Every audit scores all 11 pillars from public data. What your own Seller Central files add is precision: your real traffic, conversion and search funnel, instead of estimates. You download them yourself. We never ask for your login.

We never ask for your login, password, 2-step code or user permissions. You download files and attach them, or approve read-only reports inside Seller Central. If anyone claiming to be us asks for account access before you are a client, don’t grant it.

Watch: download and upload, start to finish

Three levels

Level 1 · ~2 min

Quick

Your ASIN, hero keyword and up to 5 competitors. Full listing, keyword and competitor-complaint analysis. The revenue at stake is estimated from your revenue band.

Level 2 · ~25 min

Full (recommended)

Plus the Business Report and at least one of Search Query Performance, the search term report or your backend terms. Fixes are graded on your real traffic and conversion.

Level 3 · ~35 min

Deep

Plus your returns report, so your own complaints sit next to your competitors’ and product fixes can be briefed.

How to pick your 5 competitors

Not sure? List the ones you know. We complete the set from the top organic results for your hero keyword and tell you who we picked.

Full audit: the 4 that matter most

Sales and traffic by ASIN · Business Report · CSV · last 90 days

Reports › Business Reports › By ASIN › Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item

  1. Set the date range to the last 90 days.
  2. Click Download (.csv) at the top right.

What it unlocks: Your sessions, conversion rate (unit session %) and Buy Box % for this ASIN. The funnel stages are graded on your real numbers, and the revenue at stake uses your actual sales instead of a band.

Search Query Performance, ASIN view · Brand Analytics · CSV · last 3 months

Brands › Brand Analytics › Search Query Performance

  1. Switch to ASIN view and pick the ASIN you are auditing.
  2. Set the range to Monthly and pick the latest complete month.
  3. Download the CSV from Download Manager.
  4. Repeat for the 2 months before it (3 files; upload all of them).

Needs Brand Registry and a Brand Representative or admin role. Not brand registered? Skip it; the audit still runs.

What it unlocks: For every search that shows your product: your share of impressions, clicks, add-to-carts and purchases. It shows which stage of the funnel leaks, on which searches.

Sponsored Products search term report · Advertising · CSV or XLSX saved as CSV · last 60 days

Advertising › Campaign Manager › Measurement & Reporting › Sponsored ads reports

  1. Create report → Sponsored Products → Report type Search term → Time unit Summary → Last 60 days.
  2. Run it and download it when the status is Completed. If it downloads as .xlsx, open it and save as .csv.

What it unlocks: The searches that already convert when you pay for them. They move to the top of the keyword list for your title and bullets, and wasted spend on irrelevant terms is flagged.

Your backend search terms · Copy and paste · 1 minute

Catalog › Manage All Inventory › Edit (your ASIN) › Keywords tab

  1. Find the Search Terms field (sometimes “Generic Keyword”).
  2. Copy everything in it and paste it into the backend box. Shoppers never see it, so this is the only way to check it.

What it unlocks: Completes the keyword score: unused space in the 249-byte limit, words that repeat your title, and missing high-volume terms.

Deep audit: one more

Your customer returns · Fulfillment report · CSV · last 90 days

Reports › Fulfillment › Customer Concessions › FBA customer returns

  1. Set the event date to the last 90 days, then Generate report and Download.
  2. Ship it yourself (FBM)? Use Orders → Manage Returns and export the same period instead.

What it unlocks: Return reasons and comments in your customers’ own words. They become the “us” column of the competitor pain matrix and the evidence for any product or packaging brief.

Upload them to your audit

01

Download the files

From Seller Central, using the steps for each report above. Keep them as .csv.

02

Open your dashboard

Sign in at /dashboard (the link in your purchase email works too) and go to Run a new audit.

03

Attach the files

Click Seller Central reports and select all of them at once. Each file shows what we recognized it as, before anything is sent.

04

Paste your backend terms

Paste the Search Terms field into Backend search terms; the byte counter shows if you’re over 249.

05

Run the audit

Press Run my audit. Already ran one? Open the report and use Add fresh Seller Central files to re-run it with your data.

Or connect instead of uploading

Signed-in buyers can click Connect Seller Central on their dashboard. Amazon asks you to approve read-only access to two reports (Sales & Traffic, Search Query Performance); each audit then pulls them for that ASIN. Revoke it any time from your dashboard or from Seller Central → Apps and Services → Manage Your Apps.
